I'd say this is good news. It sounds like there won't be a mullahocracy in Iraq, despite the efforts of the Iranian-born Ayatollah (why do I have a visceral reaction to that phrase?) al-Sistani. We'll have to see how things go from here, but it's a good start.[Permalink] (0) comments
